Day 1: Arrive in Rome, Italy. Welcome dinner. Day 2: Rome. Globus Choice excursions: Colosseum/Roman Forum, Jewish Ghetto/St. Mary Major Basilica, or Vatican Museums/Sistine Chapel. Day 3: Rome‚ÄìFlorence. Guided walking tour including Academy of Fine Arts (Michelangelo’s David), Cathedral, and Signoria Square. Day 4: Florence‚ÄìVenice. Private boat ride, orientation walk, glassblowing demonstration, dinner at a local restaurant, and private water taxi ride on the Grand Canal. Day 5: Venice‚ÄìBellinzona, Switzerland‚ÄìLucerne. Lunch at the Courtyard of Castelgrande in Bellinzona; drive through St. Gotthard Road Tunnel. Day 6: Lucerne. Walking tour including Lion Monument and Chapel Bridge; afternoon at leisure. Day 7: Lucerne‚ÄìBasel‚ÄìParis, France. Drive to Basel, board high-speed TGV train to Paris. Day 8: Paris. Morning at leisure, afternoon guided walking tour of an iconic quarter, and farewell dinner cruise on the Seine River. Day 9: Paris. Vacation ends after breakfast.
